Chick Care Parents 2016

The best part of having chicks is getting to play with them. The hardest part is having to clean up poop and trying not to step on their poop when we let them out to play.

I am surprised that they don't peep as loud as I thought they would and they dont sleep as much as we thought they would. I am also surprised that we can tell them apart by the type of fuzz they have.

I've learned that they can be messy and curious. The funniest thing I saw them do was play "soccer" with a bug they found. Then they are it!

Here are some pictures of Lemonade, Eagle Sparrow, and Power Patch.

We will see you Thursday with our chicks!
Going great! What a wonderful experience! Wish  even more kids could experience the 1st hand cuteness! The learning of how they gurgle-drink & fall asleep while standing & "cat-nap" is all interesting! Thanks for your work invested into this awesome project. We feel very lucky to participate!

All 4 of our chicks are doing well, even the runt.  They seem happy.  We have had to clear off some vents, and the one larger umbilical cord fell off today.  So far, so good!
