We have had a very busy week! The hatcher arrived on Monday and by Wednesday morning we have hatched 21 eggs!
The big white eggs you see in the hatcher are White Leghorns. 10 have hatched so far and 6 more are expected to hatch by Saturday. The chicks are bigger yellow fluff balls.
The big blue green eggs are Ameraucanas. 3 have hatched with 4 more expected to hatch by Saturday. The chicks are big black brown fluff balls.
The big dark brown eggs are Welsumer. 7 have hatched so far with 2 more expected to hatch by Saturday. The chicks are smaller brown chipmunk striped fluff balls.
The little white eggs are White Leghorn Bantams. One has hatched and one more is expected to hatch by Saturday.
